This isn't the best shot but little pockets of juniper like this are a real treat when you can find them.

Bully Creek

There is a lot of Bully Creek in Malheur County. In the Spring, when the rains come it can get rather large. Most of the time it is a small stream.

Gully

Little gullies and canyons like this are easy to miss when the landscape often just looks like endless sagebrush.

Brush

It is a rough and tumble country. I can only imagine the pioneers trying to make their way across land like this.
